So the Premier League may have departed for a weekend, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t profit to be made, does it? Plenty of action to take in and we feel there are a load of teams who represent real value over the next few days.

England v San Marino
Thursday October 9th: 7.45

So, as you can expect, there isn’t a whole lot of value in this game. England are best priced at 1/100 with Stan James, a draw is at 40/1 with BetVictor and a San Marino win is available at a stingy 100/1 with bet365. We all know how it’s going to end, so where does the value come in?

Well, handicaps is something you can look at, with England -4 being a safe bet and actually worth adding onto your accumulator, best priced at 1/3 with bet365. England -5 is available at 4/6, also at bet365 and -6 is a daring 13/10, again with bet365. If you fancy San Marino to put in a solid performance and concede a mere 5 goals or fewer, San Marino +6 is available 5/4 with Paddy Power.

Elsewhere, we feel the value lies in the Anytime Goalscorer market. It is worth waiting to see a confirmed line up first, as Hodgson may choose to rest players for this formality of a fixture, giving some fringe players a good chance of starting. Wayne Rooney is available at 3/10 with William Hill to score anytime, but not guaranteed to start, whilst Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a very decent 11/8 with Coral. It may be worth waiting until the line up is announced, but we think the Ox looks like very, very good value.

Elsewhere in Europe, it is easier to pick out some value. Ireland host newly accepted UEFA member Gibraltar. Though a Gibraltar upset is available at 60/1 with Bet Victor, we must say we have been rather impressed with the plucky little rock, who have seen draws against Estonia and a win against Malta in their short lived existence. Perhaps a handicap of Gibraltar +4 at 2/1 is a nice little bet, best priced with Coral. A misfiring Irish squad that has never been packed with goal scoring ability might struggle to really hammer home against the minnows.

Robbie Keane first goalscorer is available at 13/5 in this game with bet365.

Our niche tip of the weekend comes from the Baltic Sea. On Thursday, at the same time as the England game, Lithuania are set to face Estonia. Lithuania have a strong home record, holding Russia, Bosnia and beating Poland in recent outings whilst Estonia haven’t beaten a professional national team for 30 months whilst playing away. They may scrape past your Andorras and San Marinos, but that is all they have been able to do over the last few years. Lithuania to win at 5/4 with BetFred is a crazy price and you’d be a lunatic not to put it into your accumulators.

Feeling patriotic? Three British wins (England, Scotland, Wales) is available at 6/1 with bet365!

To finish up, our acca for the next few days is a slow burner. We’re picking Spain (2/5 with SkyBet) and Switzerland (7/5 with Stan James) to win on Thursday, Turkey (5/4 with bet365) to win on Friday and Germany (best priced 8/15 with William Hill) on Saturday. Not only does it give us action across three days, it’s also available at a tasty 10.3/1 with bet365!
