This may not have the same lure as fixtures such as Arsenal vs Bayern or Manchester City vs Barcelona for most neutrals, but it is sure to be a fixture worth a look. And no, not just to laugh at Emmanuel Eboue.
The relationship between Mancini and Mourinho is frosty to say the least, from when the latter took over the former at Inter, and into their battles in the Champions League as managers of Manchester City and Real Madrid respectively. There could be fireworks in the pressers.
Blues should leave 'Hell' with a win
Chelsea are favourites for this one despite not having home-advantage. The Blues are evens with Unibet to win on Wednesday, while Gala are best-priced at 10/3 with Bet365. The draw is 5/2 with BetVictor.
For our money, we fancy a slim Chelsea win in this one. Mourinho will be a cagey devil in the first leg, and will look to take home an advantage to Stamford Bridge. The Chelsea win by one goal is 13/5 with Boylesports, a tip that looks well worth considering.
Gala should heed Hazard warning
Chelsea's most impressive performer this season, Eden Hazard, will need to pull off another top performance to give Chelsea the edge in this one. With much of the Blues' forward line a little off, Hazard looks the best bet to grab a goal at 11/4 with Coral.
Obviously the romantics would love to see a Drogba goal against Chelsea, but a far bigger threat for Chelsea is Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz. He is at an outrageous 4/1 for Anytime Goalscorer with Sportingbet.
Saving the goals for the second-leg
This one doesn't look like a high-scorer for us. Under 2.5 goals is 8/11 with Stan James which looks good. If you're feeling particularly brave, under 1.5 goals is a cheeky 23/10 with Ladbrokes.
