FRODON: The Cheltenham Gold Cup, Friday
The Paul Nicholls yard is absolutely firing all cylinders at the moment so we have singled out two excellent ante post bets from the Ditcheat outfit.
Frodon continues to surprise everybody with his front running tenacity: his King George victory was an outstanding career best. He is confirmed for The Cheltenham Gold Cup this time round, with the owners swerving the Ryanair Chase route, a Grade One he won in 2019. 
Frodon’s Cheltenham credentials are certified of course as the horse and jockey Bryony Frost come alive over this track and there’s no reason why he won’t give Al Boum Photo and Santini a stayer’s run for their money over the daunting 3 miles 2 furlongs.
He won the Grade 2 Cotswold Chase in 2019 over 3 mile 1f, so the extra furlong is not beyond him and he is a tough horse to get past going up the hill. I feel this horse is going to be heavily punted on as the Gold Cup each way bet on the day itself, so this is well worth taking out now.

MCFABULOUS, The Stayers Hurdle, Thursday
This progressive Paul Nicholls trained hope for the Stayers Hurdle didn’t quite fulfil the potential that was expected last term, but he firmly put himself on the map with a brilliant performance in the Relkeel Hurdle 2 weeks ago at Kempton. 
Despite running way too wide on such a tight track and giving himself plenty more to do, the horse stayed on impressively. He needs to find a little more to be in the realms of Paisley Park and Thyme Hill but as an each way proposition he is worth taking now at 20/1 with bet365 or NRNB with Paddy Power and Betfair at 12/1.
SKY PIRATE, The Arkle, Tuesday
The each way betting scenario for the Arkle is quite tantalising thanks to the short priced favourite Shishkin. The Jonjo O’Neil trained Sky Pirate has come on leaps and bounds in his last two starts, his latest being an impressive handicap win tackling 2 miles for the first time. 
What’s also in Sky Pirate’s favour is his extensive experience which doesn’t normally characterise the average Arkle entry.
Pricewise he’s a safe 16/1 NRNB with Betfair and Paddy Power or a riskier full ante-post option at 20/1 with bet365, William Hill and Betfred.
