Who could forget Premier Magic winning the Hunters Challenge Cup in 2023 at 66/1 and of course Poniras winning the Triumph Hurdle for Willie Mullins last year at 100/1!

This preview includes a 50/1 chance in the Supreme Novices Hurdle on the opening day. Best Cheltenham Festival 2026 bets and odds provided by our partner firms Bet365, William Hill, Betfred, Bet Victor and Boylesports.

NRNB Non-Runner No Bet

Three of our partners are now offering NRNB (Non-Runner No Bet) on all Cheltenham Festival 2026. They are Bet365, William Hill and Betfred. All bets with Bet Victor and Boylesports remain within full ante-post rules: that is, all bets placed with these firms for Cheltenham Festival 2026 will be deemed as lost if the selection does not take their place in the race for whatever reason.

Best Long Shots

Eachtotheirown, The Supreme Novices Hurdle, Tuesday 10th March

Barry Connell, trainer of Champion Chase leading contender Marine Nationale, believes his improving novice hurdler Eachtotheirown is in with a squeak for the opener, The Supreme Novices Hurdle on the opening day.

The horse won on his first start over hurdles but found things a little too hot once elevated to Grade 2 company. However, he bounced back impressively to win a handicap at Thurles. With further improvement, he can enter each way calculations. A whopping 50/1 available with Bet365 NRNB.

Munsif, Hallgarten and Novum Wines Juvenile Handicap Hurdle, Tuesday 10th March

Munsif finished third in a very decent juvenile hurdle run at Fairyhouse, which current race favourite Proactif subsequently won. The horse did not seem to appreciate the testing conditions but will relish good ground if this comes up for Day One of The Cheltenham Festival.

He also registered three wins on the flat for trainer Roger Varian so there is plenty to like about this improving juvenile who looks to be aimed for a busy spring campaign. Best odds of 14/1 with William Hill NRNB.

Donnacha, The TrustATrader Plate Handicap, Tuesday 10th March

This Nigel Hawke trained eight-year-old was not for pulling back in a very tenacious victory over the highly rated Jagwar in a valuable handicap chase at Cheltenham last December.

His overall record of 2 places and a win at Cheltenham is certainly eye-catching and the horse relishes the Cheltenham hill. Great each way value at 20/1 with William Hill NRNB.

David’s Well, The Grand Annual, Wednesday 11th March

Trained by Chris Gordon, David’s Well has kept connections incredibly happy this season by winning four on the bounce, most recently in a decent handicap over course and distance.

He will not have escaped the handicapper’s attention; however, this is an improving horse, and he could run a bold race again in the Grand Annual. Good each way value at 12/1 with Bet365 and William Hill NRNB.

Banbridge: The Cheltenham Gold Cup, Friday 13th March

The King George VI Chase hero from 2024, Banbridge, bounced back to form at his beloved Kempton again with a mighty close second to winner The Jukebox Man.

He has won at The Cheltenham Festival as a novice hurdler but showed no liking for the Cheltenham Gold Cup trip last year, finishing a distant seventh to eventual winner Inowhatyourthinkin. However, 40/1 NRNB with Bet365 looks like a particularly good value each way bet.

Rockys Howya: Hunters Chase, Friday

Rockys Howya has become quite a veteran over this course and distance, his pinnacle being a decent fourth to long odds winner Premier Magic back in 2023. He found conditions going against him in last year’s renewal.

However, trainer Declan Queally has been running him successfully in hurdle races recently, which seems to have given this former point to pointer renewed confidence. He is sure to come on for this and looks decent value with Bet Victor at 33/1 (However, this is with full ante-post rules).
