Call it El Cashico, call it Oil Clasico, whatever floats your boat. The fact is that this a match between two of the richest clubs on the planet, and whatever your stance on that, we should be in for a cracking match of football.
It's a hard one to call to be honest, but there are a few things that could swing the tie either way. For example, Chelsea have Jose Mourinho, which is a massive plus. But, they also have Fernando Torres, which could negate even the strongest managerial influence. Come to think of it, they kind of cancel each other out.
Moving on...
Home advantage helps the Parisians
We fancy PSG for the first-leg in what should be a tightly fought battle between the two sides. The French side are favourites at 11/10 with Boylesports, while Chelsea are just behind at 31/10 with BetVictor. The draw is 5/2 with Bet365.
We fancy a 1-0 win to PSG here, or, failing that, at least a win by one goal. The 1-0 home-win is a very decent 6/1 with Ladbrokes, while the PSG win by one goal is 5/2 with Paddy Power. We don't think Jose will be too unhappy with that result, which would put them in a relatively healthy position for the return-leg.
Dare to bet on Zlatan
It would be silly, nay, ridiculous not to bet on Zlatan Ibrahimovic to grab a goal on Wednesday night. The Swede is in top form in the Champions League with 10 goals to his name, just three behind Cristiano Ronaldo. We thought about going safe and betting on him for Anytime Goalscorer but we're going to bite the bullet and put him down for First Goalscorer at 4/1 with Unibet.
We fancy Bet365's 2/1 offer on only PSG to score in this leg as well. Like we said earlier, it should be a close-fought game and it wouldn't be a surprise if Chelsea walked away without notching in the first-leg.
Red mist?
It is the quarter-final of the Champions League, and hence, this is where tempers fray. You can find odds for a sending off in the match at 5/2 with Unibet.
