Quarter-Final: Manchester City Vs Wigan

FA Cup holders Wigan (weird) travel to last year's losing finalists (even weirder) Manchester City in a repeat of the Wembley showdown of last season.Since that meeting the two clubs have seen contrasting fortunes: Wigan are battling for promotion from the Championship, while Manchester City are on course for an unprecedented Quadruple. Barely, but still.

Will City steamroller it like we know they should? Or will we see another dramatic upset on the cards?

Repeat in name, but not by nature

This fixture may look familiar, but don't expect the result to be. We fancy Manchester City for this one, and at 1/6 with Betfred, they are definitely the favourites. Wigan are out at 20/1 with Bet365, while the draw is 8/1 with Betfair.

SkyBet's tempting offer of City to win by three or more goals at 5/4 is what we're plumping for. If there's a repeat of last year's final on the cards, we'll be as shocked as the rest of the country (and the bookies).

Deadly duo set to start

With Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo set to start for City in what should be a warm-up for the Barcelona game, you'd expect City to hit the back of the net a few times. While it is tempting to stick something on the over 4.5 goals market at 5/2 with Paddy Power, the safer option is over 3.5 goals which can be found at 23/20 with Coral.

Unsurprisingly, Aguero and Negredo are both odds-on for Anytime Goalscorer on Sunday, so we like the look of Yaya Toure Anytime Goalscorer instead at 7/5 with BetVictor. The Ivorian is more than capable of grabbing a goal and provides a more lucrative betting option than City's front two.

Wigan given the runaround

Given Wigan should be outplayed by City, we quite like Paddy Power's offer on them receiving the first booking of the match at 5/6.
