Roy Hodgson’s England will be looking to correct their recent poor form in friendlies. The squad has very few surprises and it seems England will field a strong team against Denmark, one that could even resemble the side starting in Brazil. The home side are available at 4/6 with Paddypower, the draw is best at 14/5 with Bet365 and a Denmark win is best at 21/4 with BetVictor.

England to start sharp?

Yes, we know it seems unlikely on the face of it, but with the new look front line including the pace and trickery of Sturridge, Welbeck, Lallana and Oxlade Chamberlain – it seems to me Roy will want England to come out of the blocks quickly after their previous results. Taking this into account, we’re going to go into the First Team Booking market, and bet that Denmark pick up the first card at 21/20 with WilliamHill.

For club and country

Everyone knows about Daniel Sturridge’s scoring record recently, he has scored 18 Premier League goals this season and 11 in his last 11 appearances in all competitions. Yet, the bookmakers are happy offering a huge 5/1 for him to be first goalscorer! Get this huge price at bet365.

However, we at Howtobet4free don’t think this game will be a complete walkover. Denmark have put in some good performances in recent outings, drawing with Italy and beating many albeit lesser footballing nations convincingly. We think England have the quality to push through their threat, but the Both Team to Score/England Win line is very tempting at 10/3 with Coral.

Oh, and the Nicklas Bendtner hat trick is available at 400/1 with Betfair. So do what you will with that information.
