Arsenal vs Wigan

Every time AVB has closed his eyes this week he has seen the face of Arsene Wenger smirking back at him. Even with the being they say is one third ape one third cheetah and one third Ronaldo: 'Gareth Bale' at Spurs it seems that Arsenal are going to clinch that revered fourth Champions League spot, and condemn Spurs to the role of the nearly-men once more.

If they can win their next two games versus Wigan and Newcastle that is.

Tomorrow sees Arsenal face the FA Cup Champions Wigan Athletic at the Emirates in what will be one final roll of the dice for Roberto Martinez's slippery relegation dodgers and a chance to cast an ominous shadow over the white half of North London for the Gunners.

If you fancy Wigan to cling onto their Premier League dreams and snatch a victory at the Emirates your best odds will be with William Hill at 8/1, if you're backing the favourites however, an Arsenal Victory can be found at 4/11 with Coral. If you're interested you can grab 3/4 on Arsenal finishing in the top four with 188bet.

Will it fall to the final day for Arsenal?

This is a huge game for both teams despite sitting at opposite ends of the table. I'm Pretty sure Arsenal are going to steal a victory here in a cagey 2-0, you can get this for 8/1 with Betvictor.

On the other hand it's certainly not beyond the realms of possibility that the Gunners make things difficult for themselves and draw. Skybet are offering an absolutely mental scorecast boost of Arouna Kone to score first and the game to be drawn 1-1 for, get this, 100/1. Absolutely worth a punt in my eyes.

Who's Stepping up to the plate?

I always like to have a few anytime goalscorers on the betslip because it means I can wait until the end of the game before scrunching it up and throwing it at the telly/cat/nearest housemate. So here are the best odds on who I fancy could be on the scoresheet by the end: Callum Macmanaman has been impressive for Wigan in their cup run and could have a blinder against Arsenal, your best odds are 11/2 with Coral; Walcott is predictably the bookies favourite at evens; Adam Sandler impersonator Santi Cazorla is going at 2/1 with Ladbrokes and often blasts one out of nowhere, and finally Wigan's only player of eyebrow raising quality Arouna Kone, is 7/2 with William Hill.

I think my money will be on Kone and Cazorla here.

A Hip-Tip from the Hipster Tipster?

Scorecasts are nice, anytime goalscorers are nice, win/lose/draws are nice. But why not try something a bit different? Timecasts are a good way to keep the game interesting! In this week's Hip Tips I'm tipping Wigan to score the first goal up to and including the 21st minute because Arsenal might find themselves caught with their pants down by some of Wigan's pacey wide-boys. Paddy Power are offering 5/1 on this happening, so jump on it!
