Arsenal to get back to wins with victory over Burnley!

Arsenal head to Turf Moor on the back of their first Premier league victory of the season (a 1-0 win over Norwich last week). It's a second relegation / 6 pointer for Arsenal in a week with Arsenal sitting in 16th and Burnley in 18th position in the league.

This game is key for both sides for an early season pride. With a win Arsenal season is looking more optimistic and upwards, but a defeat and North London derby next week against bitter rival Spurs, it could derail the season before it's begun. For Burnley on one point from a possible twelve, another defeat will mount pressure on Sean Dyche.

New Arsenal signing Takehiro Tomiyasu should start after an impressive display against Norwich. Arsenal are without Granit Xhaka (suspended) and it's expected that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Saka should start. Aubameyang likes a goal against Burnley and is priced at 6/4 with Bet Victor to score anytime in the game.

Burnley could welcome back Nathan Collins, Maxwell Cornet is vying for a debut, but Connor Roberts, Kevin Long and Dale Stephens are not expected to feature.

The last three games between the sides have finished under 2.5 goals and you can get 4/5 with Betfred! Given five out of the eight league games involving the two sides have finished under 2.5 goals it seems a reasonable bet.

Arsenal did have an eleven match winning run against Burnley until February 2020 (coinciding with Mikkel Arteta's rein) when the Gunners drew 0-0 with Sean Dyche's team. Since then Burnley have one win (1-0 at the Emirates last season) and a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor. You can get 10/1 with bet365 on a 1-0 Burnley win and 9/1 with bet365 for the 0-0!

This is likely to be a tight affair with two teams low on confidence. Given the superior quality of Arsenal and that Burnley are without a win in 12 home league games, I think this is a great chance for the Gunners to resurrect their season. I'm going for the Arsenal win at 21/20 with Betfred! Back this for the 3pm Saturday game!

1st Bet:

Burnley vs Arsenal: Arsenal win @ 21/20 with Betfred!

Back Over 2.5 Goals in the late Saturday evening game between Villa and Everton

Aston Villa vs Everton is a proper classic Premier League fixture and with Villa firmly established back in the Premier League, it looks like a fixture to enjoy for years to come.

Given the form of both sides it feels like a proper 50:50 and difficult game to call. The bookmakers have Aston Villa at 29/20 with William Hill, 21/20 with Betfred, and draw at 23/10 with bet365!

Emi Martinez and Emi Buendia could return for Villa after missing out due to covid rules relating to their return from World Cup Qualification duty. Everton have last minute injury worries on Calvert-Lewin and will be expected to field a similar team as the side that beat Burnley 3-1 on Monday (You can get 28/1 with bet365 on Everton repeating the score line against Villa).

Demari-Gray-everton-vs-villa-betting.jpg

Benitez seems to be getting the best out of Everton and it will be exciting to see where this team can go this season. Demari Gray has been a stand out performer for the Toffees so far with 3 goals from 4 matches, and with a decent run in the team could be delivering the potential that was bursting to come out! Gray is 23/10 to score anytime in this game with Betfred!

Danny Inns will look forward to facing Everton with his record against the team, with six goals and two assists in the twelve games against Everton. Inns is best priced at 9/2 with bet365 to score the first goal of the game, and 8/5 with William Hill for Inns to score anytime

Both teams look threatening with positive attacking players with the likes of Calvert-Lewin, Danny Inns, Ollie Watkins, Richarlison, Demari Gray and so on. Five of the Premier League games involving the sides this season has ended in over 2.5 goals. I think we're bound to see goals between these two sides so over 2.5 goals at evens with bet365 looks a decent bet!

2nd Bet:

Aston Villa vs Everton: Over 2.5 Goals @ evens with bet365!

Chelsea too strong for Spurs away from home!

Chelsea head to the Tottenham for a big North vs West London clash. Chelsea have looked incredibly strong so far and will either win the Premier League or go very close! Tottenham undid a great start to season with a crushing 3-0 defeat to Patrick Viera's Crystal Palace last Saturday lunchtime.

Spurs chances won't be helped by a injury crisis with Christian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso, Davinson Sanchez, Son Heung-Min, Eric Dier, Ryan Sessegnon already sidelined and following the game against Rennes on Thursday evening, it looks like Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura may also have injury problems. Japhet Tanganga also misses out following the red card against Palace.

Meanwhile Chelsea have a pretty much full strength squad to choose from apart from N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic who are unlikely to feature.

Tottenham-Chelsea-premier-league.jpg

Despite Tottenham's selection problems, you would anticipate a fairly cagey affair and a 1-0 or 2-1 win looks most likely. You can get 6/1 with bet365 on the 1-0 Chelsea win or 8/1 with William Hill on the 2-1 Chelsea win.

Romelu Lukaku’s must be licking his lips at the prospect of a depleted Spurs backline and is a worthy option for first goalscorer with Betfred at 11/4. Lukaku already has three goals in the league season and looks a solid bet for top Premier League goalscorer this season at 11/4 with William Hill!

Chelsea should have too much and win the game. All three of Chelsea's league wins this season have been Chelsea winning at half time and full time wins - I think we'll see another one on Sunday afternoon! I'm going for a Chelsea half time / full time at 7/4 with bet365!

3rd Bet:

Spurs vs Chelsea: Chelsea half time / full time @ 7/4 with bet365!
