Manchester United to win and goals in the lunchtime game!

Man Utd face another Saturday lunchtime and will be under big pressure to take all three points - if they don't poor starters Arsenal could be within one or two points of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side by Saturday evening!

Everton are likely to be without key players, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison, Seamus Coleman and Andre Gomes. Whilst Man Utd will be without Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw. Without those defensive backups I think we're bound to see a few goals, over 2.5 goals is offered best at 4/5 with Betfred!

Everton have only recorded four wins against Manchester United in their last 19 meetings. All of those wins have been wins to nil, so you if you fancy an Everton win you may be tempted by 12/1 on Everton to win to nil with Bet Victor! Utd haven't lost at Old Trafford to Everton since December 2013, so will fancy a win or draw (double chance) for Man Utd best at 1/9 with Betfred!

There's speculation Bruno Fernandes and Ronaldo may be rested (at least initially), but if you fancy either to score you can get 5/6 with Bet Victor for Ronaldo to score, and 11/8 for Fernandes to hit the back of the net with Betfred! Also of interest are the odds from bet365 for a penalty to be awarded at 7/4!

Solskjaer has a particular tough run of games in October which includes matches against Leicester City, Liverpool, Atlanta and Tottenham. Getting the win here (1/2 with Betfred) should get Utd back on track and no more than one point of the top of the league or better.

With a less than full strength Everton against the attacking talent of Man Utd, I think you have to go for the Man Utd win. I also fancy we will see a few goals, so Manchester United win and both teams to score at 5/4 with bet365! Man Utd should get back on track on Saturday lunchtime!

1st Bet:

Manchester United vs Everton: Manchester United win and over 2.5 goals @ 5/4 with bet365!

Arsenal to hit form in October (starting with a win against Brighton!)

Arsenal take on Brighton away from home in the Saturday evening match! Most would be expecting Arsenal to be flying higher than Brighton higher in the league, with the Seagulls in 6th (on 13 points) and Arsenal in 10th (on 9 points). You can still get 13/2 with bet365 on Brighton to finish in the top 6 if you fancy Graham Potter's side to stay there.

Arsenal apparently have the highest average points per game in history during the month of October at 2.07 and Arteta will be hopeful that continues! Granit Xhaka will be missing after picking up an injury in the 3-1 North London Derby win last week. Brighton are without Danny Welbeck, Steven AlzateEnock Mwepu and Adam Webster.

Brighton have been fantastic in the early part of the season with only one defeat (2-0 home defeat against Everton) thus far in the league. The bookies have Brighton win at 21/10 with Betfred, draw at 23/10 with Betfred and Arsenal win 6/4 with William Hill

Brighton were one of the few teams Arsenal did the double over last season, with a 1-0 win at the Amex after a second half Lacazette strike, and a 2-0 win at the Emirates. Last season's 1-0 away win over was very much the making of Bukayo Saka who very shone out in the game. If you fancy Saka to score in a second game in a row you can get 7/2 on Saka to score anytime with bet365!

Arsenal's defence has looked particularly good in recent weeks and given the resurgence in the attacking play, 10/3 with Bet Victor on Arsenal to win to nil looks reasonable value.

I think we'll see the Arsenal winning form continue with a good win against Brighton. Arsenal at 6/4 for the win looks the best prospect for the match!

2nd Bet:

Brighton vs Arsenal: Arsenal win @ 6/4 with William Hill!

Stalemate between Klopp and Guardiola!

Man City roll onto another big Premier League game after beating Chelsea last week, this time against Liverpool in the main Sunday late game. The winner of the game will likely be top of the league at the end of the weekend! Who will take the early season bragging rights?

Both teams played in mid week in the Champions League with Man City losing 2-0 to PSG and Liverpool thrashing Porto away! Both teams are in pretty strong league form and see this as a key early season battle.

Liverpool have only won one of the last seven meetings between the teams, which was a 3-1 win at home in November 2019! Betfred are best at 2/1 for the Liverpool win if you fancy the Reds to collect all three points. City are considered favourites and offered at 7/5 with William Hill!

City have hit four goals in two out of the last three games against Klopp's side, and you can get 10/1 on Man City to score over 3.5 goals with bet365! However it's important to note Virgil van Dijk and Joël Matip are back this season, albeit Brentford did ruffle them last week!

Jesus and Foden are expected to feature as Pep rings the changes for freshness and sharpness. Foden is 15/2 with bet365 to score the first goal which is tempting, but I can't but feel you would want better odds for such a bet!

These games tend to explode or be a bit of damp squid, with not much inbetween. I have a feeling we'll get a tight tactical battle ending in a draw, whether that be 0-0 (14/1 with William Hill) or 1-1 (7/1 with Bet Victor). At this stage of the season both managers will be keen to avoid defeat! I'm going with a draw at 5/2 with bet365!

3rd Bet:

Liverpool vs Manchester City: Draw @ 5/2 with bet365!
