Sergio Aguero looks sad and contemplative during a game for Manchester City

Sergio Aguero has been in great form recently, but Wenger's rampant Gunners might put paid to his and City's impressive streak.

Manchester City Vs Arsenal

Saturday 14th December 2013: 12:45pm

Many could see City fighting for the title at the start of the season given their spending on talent, but few saw Arsenal sitting top of the table well into December. The Gunner's strength has (apart from the wily skill of Mesut Ozil) not been bought: rather it has been enhanced from within, with Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud standing up and being counted so far this season.

Saturday should see a cracker of a game. What is not as certain however, is who will be victorious.

Red joy in blue surroundings

We're going to stick our necks out and say Arsenal can get all three points away from home tomorrow afternoon. City are the clear favourites, at 5/6 with William Hill, while the draw is 15/4 with Bet365. The Arsenal win however, is 14/5 with Stan James, and we like the look of this.

It should be a tight game as well, between two title contenders, and that should be reflected in the scoreline. An Arsenal 2-1 win is 14/1 with BetVictor. If you like the margin but not the scoreline, the Arsenal win by one goal is 5/1 with Ladbrokes.

Who's Gunner score first?

We like the look of SkyBet's 11/8 offer on Arsenal to score first. Discounting a 2-0 loss at Napoli in midweek, and a couple of other results, Arsenal have been very adept at going in front first this season, so this tip looks promising.

Unibet's 21/2 shout of Mesut Ozil to grab the first goal is inviting as well. After a few goalless games, the German international has looked more at home in front of goal and looks a tempting offer for First Goalscorer.

Game of two halves? Not really

Man City may have looked formidable at home recently, but we reckon Arsene's men will be up for this challenge to show they really do have title credentials. As such, we could see an Arsenal dominated game, and Betfred's 8/1 on Half Time/Full Time being Draw/Arsenal looks good. The Gunner's have grown into games this season and given their mean defensive record should be able to hold City at bay for the first half before letting loose in the second.

Tottenham Hotspur Vs Liverpool

Sunday 15th December 2013: 4pm

What a game Super Sunday has in prospect for us. Two sides who desperately crave the taste of Champions League football again, but have a long way to go in proving they deserve it.

Liverpool sit second in the table after an impressive first half of the season, while Spurs are sixth, yet still two points off fourth spot. Like Man City vs Arsenal, this is a very tough one to call.

Honours even in tense match

A draw seems the most likely result between these two for us. Tottenham are favourites at 31/20 with BetVictor, while Liverpool are 5/2 with SkyBet. The draw however, is at 2/1 with William Hill.

We think it will be a low-scoring game, given Tottenham's troubles in front of goal in the league and Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge and Steven Gerrard missing out. Unibet's offer of 24/23 on there being under 2.5 goals looks like a good bet.

Suarez hot-streak to continue

Think what you like about him as a person, there's no denying that Luis Suarez is a bloody good footballer. The top goalscorer so far in the Premier League is a very short 6/5 for Anytime Goalscorer, so the clever money would be on him to be First Goalscorer which is a much better 4/1 with Coral.

Combine that with an 11/10 offer of Liverpool to score first from SkyBet, and you could be well in the money come Sunday evening.
