Manchester United Vs Chelsea

Sunday 5th May 2013: 4pm

Chelsea are into the Europa Cup final as of Thursday night, and for the meantime securing a Top Four finish will be the Blues' priority. They face Champions Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, and with Sir Alex Ferguson's men arguably having nothing more to play for, Chelsea will be hoping to take full advantage of this situation. The Chelsea players may be boosted by the knowledge that former manager José Mourinho is odds-on favourite to take over the reigns for the start of next season (2/7 with William Hill).

Blue may be the colour at Old Trafford on Sunday

We like the idea of a Chelsea win in this fixture; the conditions seem to be just right for Benítez' men to secure a result here and further cement their place in the Champions League for next season. Chelsea are 5/2 with William Hill to secure the win on Sunday, whilst United are 5/4 with Coral. The draw is at 5/2 with Bet365.

For our money, the Chelsea 1-0 win looks like a good bet. Both teams may struggle to break each other down, but Chelsea's need for all three points could just give them the edge. BetVictor are offering 13/1 on this outcome, but odds are shortening. As far as Total Goals go, we also fancy it to be under 2.5 goals, which is 21/20 at the minute with Stan James.

Frank Lampard: Record Man?

If you are one of these people who believes in the deity that is Robin Van Persie, the Dutchman can be found at 6/5 to grab a goal anytime with SkyBet.

However, what looks more tempting to us is a Frank Lampard goal. Call us sentimental, but we'd love to see Fat Frankie grab the goal that draws him level with the all-time Chelsea top-scorer, Bobby Tambling. Whatever you think of him, he's been a great servant to England and Chelsea, and the desire to clinch the record may just see him pop one in from range. Lampard is 10/3 Anytime Goalscorer with Ladbrokes.

Liverpool Vs Everton

Sunday 5th May 2013: 1:30pm

So the backdrop to the final Merseyside derby of this season is the fact that it will also be Jamie Carragher's final derby as well. The veteran defender is due to retire at the end of the season, and create a northern punditry wonder-team with Gary Neville at Sky Sports towers. If you fancy joining us on the sentimental merry-go-round on Sunday, Paddy Power (who else?) have a special on: Jamie Carragher to score in the derby at 16/1. Between him and Frankie Lampard, there could be a few tears and celebrations come the final whistles on Sunday.

Stalemate, but shouldn't be a stale game

We're thinking the two halves of Merseyside could play out another draw on Sunday. Stan James have the draw at 13/5, whilst Liverpool can be found at 19/20 with Bet365, and Everton are at 10/3 with BetVictor.

We fancy a high scoring draw, an like the look of the 2-2 at 14/1 with Betfred. Combined with this, why not go for over 3.5 goals at 37/19 with Betfair? Merseyside derbies are feisty affairs and we fancy a few goals in this one.

Victor a good one to bet on

Victor Anichebe will be looking to bully the Liverpool defence and in particular the aging Jamie Carragher. The Nigerian is 17/5 for Anytime Goalscorer with, funnily enough, BetVictor.

Daniel Sturridge for Liverpool also looks tempting. You won't find very decent odds on him scoring anytime, so we're tipping him for First Goalscorer. Sturridge is 5/1 with Betfred to open the scoring.
