We’re back, ladies and gentleman! No longer do we have to lament, watching the gears in Roy Hodgson’s brain turn, wondering how on earth England can overcome a 10 man Estonia. Though the international break did bring up some great upsets and a whole new reason to dislike drones, it is nice to have our lovely Premier League back.

Manchester City v Tottenham
Saturday October 18th: 12.45 pm

So Man City v Spurs is the tastiest looking game in what could be a slightly lacklustre weekend. What’s the way to spice up a weekend without any stand out fixtures? Put some money down, of course! The Champions are best priced at 1/2 with Ladbrokes to come out on top in this fixture, which I feel is very generous. The draw is best priced at 5/1 with BetVictor and a Spurs win is way out at 12/1 with Coral.

Now, everyone is expecting a load of goals in this match, with over 2.5 goals being priced at 6/10 with Boylesports. However, we think the value in this game lies in a Man City win/Both Teams to Score bet, available at 2/1 with bet365. It’s a tasty way to make what should be a write off game turn into some great value.

Elsewhere, league leaders Chelsea travel across London to play Crystal Palace. The leaders are best priced at 4/9 with Betfair to beat Palace, with a draw best at 19/5 with Sportingbet and the Palace win best at 8/1 with BetVictor. For us, Andre Schurrle anytime looks very tempting. The German is best priced at 5/2 to score anytime with bet365. Chelsea have been creating loads of chances for the inside forward and he is likely to get the nod over Willian, who was in Japan as recently at Tuesday so may well be considered tired. The only reason he is that far out is because bookies are unsure whether he’ll start, so get on it!

Fancy last season’s top four to win? Get it at 10/3 with bet365!

Arsenal are in a similar boat to City this weekend, in terms of betting. At 2/5 to win with Paddy Power it is only really worth doing as part of an accumulator (which Paddy Power has bonus pay outs on, for all customers), however, if we bank on Arsenal’s leaky and injured defence then we can get Arsenal to win/Both Teams to Score at a lovely 11/5 with Coral!

Elsewhere, we think goals are bound to come in at the Newcastle v Leicester game. Both sides have been scoring and letting goals fly in like two 10 year olds are controlling them via FIFA. Over 3.5 goals at 28/13 with Unibet looks a very nice price for this.

If you want something to get you through Soccer Saturday, then look no further. Our Both Teams to Score treble will have you staring at Jeff waiting for news. A threefold BTTS of Arsenal v Hull, Newcastle v Leicester and Sunderland v Southampton comes in at a huge 11/2 with William Hill – which will make your weekend when it lands!

For Sunday, we have a nice double lined up to keep us occupied. Liverpool to win against QPR and Swansea to win or draw against Stoke is available at 20/13, which should net us a nice slice of profit to round off the weekend.
