Back Arsenal on the Asian Handicap Market against Man City!

Given the way Arsenal have started the season you could be forgiven for anticipating a very easy Manchester City win. Arsenal have conceaded four goals and not scored a goal yet in the Premier League. Manchester City bounced back with a strong win against Norwich after an opening day defeat against Tottenham.

Arsenal haven't defeated Manchester City in the Premier League since December 2015, when Arsenal beat Man City 2-1. You can get 40/1 on that score with William Hill! The last time the Gunners won at the Etihad in the league was also in 2015, in a January match, 2-0 to Arsenal (Bet Victor are offering 90/1 for that score in this game).

City are still without Kevin de Bruyne and Phil Foden with ankle injuries, whilst Arsenal are without Ben White (following a positive covid test). Arteta may have some selection dilemmas given the performances of some of the fringe players against West Brom.

Manchester City are as a short as 1/4 with bet365 to win the game, the draw offered at 5/1 with Betfred, and Arsenal are 12/1 with Bet Victor. Man City match odds backers will be feeling confident as only 3 of the last 14 matches between the sides has finished in anything but a Manchester City win!

Arsenal should be boosted by the inclusion of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who bagged a hattrick (400/1 for a hattrick again Manchester City with William Hill) in the midweek EFL Cup win over West Brom. Aubameyang hasn't scored against City in the Premier League but does have a couple of goals in last seasons FA Cup. With the likely inclusion of Odegaard, it should mean more chances for Aubameyang. You can get a tempting 3/1 with bet365 for Aubameyang to score anytime in the match.

Given everyone is backing Manchester City so strongly, I'm tempted to go against this, but not the full way! I like backing Arsenal + 1.25 on the Asian Handicap at 27/20 with bet365! If Arsenal do better than a one goal defeat you can get better than even money! Can Arsenal avoid a comprehensive defeat? We think so!

1st Bet:

Manchester City vs Arsenal: Arsenal + 1.25 Asian Handicap @ 27/20 with bet365!

Liverpool to continue Winning ways against Chelsea on Saturday evening!

Liverpool have started the season impressively. Liverpool look reborn with fans back in the stadiums and also Virgil van Dijk commanding the central defensive position. However Liverpool face arguably one of the biggest challenges they can face in the league: a confident and high quality Chelsea with the tag of Champions League winners!

Both teams are two wins from two and a hyped up Saturday evening game will give a chance for either Klopp or Tuchel to give early bragging rights. The German managers have gone head to head in 14 matches with Klopp dominating so far with 9 wins, to two wins for Tuchel and three draws.

A third win for Liverpool will see Liverpool become the first top flight club to ever win their first three wins in the four consecutive seasons. Liverpool are 6/4 with Betfred for the win, draw at 12/5 with Betfred, and Chelsea are 2/1 with Bet Victor.

These kind of big games can often promise so much, but deliver little. Usually tight tactical affairs under 2.5 goals looks at 4/5 with bet365. Both sides have looked solid at the back with clean sheets in the opening games and if you fancy a proper stalemate you can get 10/1 with William Hill on the 0-0.

With the talent on show including Salah, Mane, Jota, Lukaku, Mount and Havertz we have to get some goals though! Liverpool with a raucous Anfield crowd will be difficult to put a lid on. For me the home advantage gives Liverpool the edge and I'm going for a narrow Liverpool win (say a 1-0 or 2-1 most likely). Betfred are offering 6/4 for the Liverpool which seems the bet of the game for me!

2nd Bet:

Liverpool vs Chelsea: Liverpool to Win @ 6/4 with Betfred!

Manchester United to stroll to Victory against Wolves on Sunday!

Well the big news of the weekend is the transfer of Ronaldo back to Manchester United, but unfortunately the legendary Portuguese striker forward won't be ready to face Wolves! However Manchester United have an army of attacking talent to field against Wolves in the Super Sunday clash!

Ronaldo would be licking his lips to be given a chance to face this Wolves side, but his new teammate Jadon Sancho, Greenwood, Fernandes and Cavani will fancy grabbing a few goals! Wolves have one only one of their last eight matches against Manchester United.

United looked a shadow of their opening day performance in a rather mundane 1-1 draw with Southampton (6/1 with bet365 for a repeat scoreline). You would imagine anything but a victory against a pretty average Wolves side will result in fan pressure. Utd should be boosted by the debut of Varane who should start in defence.

Manchester United notched up 12 away wins last season and even with the return to noisy home crowds this season, I fancy Utd to pull in a good number of away wins! Wolves look a lot weaker and whatever eleven Ole pick should be sufficient to get the three points (5/6 with Betfred for Man Utd to get the win).

I like the look of Manchester United Half Time / Full Time at 15/8 with bet365! It's a bet that has won for Wolves opponents in first two matches of the season and I think it will again! Ride the Manchester United early season betting wave!

3rd Bet:

Wolves vs Manchester United: Manchester United to win Half Time / Full Time @ 15/8 with bet365!
