Andros Townsend and Roberto Soldado celebrate a Tottenham Hotspur goal

Roberto Soldado hasn't been netting, so can Andros Townsend pick up the slack for him after some stellar England performances?

Spurs Vs Villa and Crystal Palace Vs Fulham

So after a rather exciting international weekend as far as England were concerned, we're back to the Premier League! Which... doesn't contain any (on the face of it) exciting match-ups.

Still, there's always the potential, so let's crack on...

Aston Villa Vs Tottenham Hotspur

Sunday 20th October: 4pm

Spurs are looking to bounce back after a pre-international-break mauling by West Ham, while Villa are coming into this game after a pre-international-break bore-draw with Hull. Not impressive form for either team, but Andre Villas-Boas does have at his disposal a rampant Andros Townsend. Oh, and the small matter of a very expensively assembled squad.

Villa on the other hand, might have Christian Benteke fit and ready to go. 'Nuff said.

Spurs to get back to winning ways

Spurs are heavy favourites to win the game on Sunday, and are best-priced at 21/20 with BetVictor. The draw is 5/2 with Boylesports, while the Villa win is 3/1 with Betfred.

With most of Spurs' talented squad fit and ready to play on Sunday, we fancy it could be a comfortable win for them. Villa have looked impressive this season but have been inconsistent, while (barring the West Ham result) Spurs have kept a mean defence. The Spurs win by two goals is 11/2 with BetVictor.

England form to continue for Townsend?

He scored one banger and nearly scored another one on international duty, so the signs look good for Andros Townsend to have a couple of efforts at least on goal for Spurs. He is a hefty 5/1 for Anytime Goalscorer with Bet365, an offer worth taking advantage of.

And if anyone is going to assist him, it would probably be Christian Eriksen. The young Dane has impressed since his move to White Hart Lane and has chipped in with a few assists already. Eriksen is 5/2 with Coral to provide a final pass on Sunday.

Crystal Palace Vs Fulham

Monday 21st October: 8pm

A basement battle between two managers under pressure is live on Monday night, and either team could really do with a win. Fulham should have enough quality to avoid a relegation battle this year, but Palace do really look out of their depth at this level.

If it does turn out to be a loss for Palace, expect Holloway to blame everyone from subterranean molemen to communists in an attempt to exonerate himself and his team.

Stale game makes for stalemate

My hopes aren't too high for this one in terms of entertainment, and that could impact on both teams' chances of success if neither seek the win. Palace are 7/4 favourites with William Hill for the win on Monday, while Fulham are 9/5 with Bet365.

The draw is what we like the look of though, and Unibet have that on offer at 40/17 for those who agree with us (and why wouldn't you?)

Bore draw or score draw?

We fancy it to be a score draw, but just barely. The 1-1 is a tasty 11/2 with Stan James, and if you like the idea of a score draw but don't like the scoreline, we've got an interesting tip: Paddy Power are offering Match Result and Both Teams To Score (Draw) at 16/5. Well worth getting on.
