Liverpool vs Newcastle

Sunday 11th May 2014: 3pm

So, Liverpool go into this game knowing that they need a win to keep their slim hopes of winning the title alive. Yes, we know they need a City loss (who doesn't?), but more on that in a minute.

You would think that Liverpool would have enough to see off Newcastle. But this is the final day of the Premier League season. And since when does the Greatest League on Earth ever go to plan?

Red win... But will it be enough?

Yeah, we fancy the Liverpool win. Rodgers' men know that only a win will do, and although they faltered at Crystal Palace, Newcastle haven't shown too much fight since they knew they were safe. Liverpool are 2/9 with William Hill to win on Sunday, while Newcastle are way out at 16/1 with BetVictor. The draw is 27/4 with Unibet.

We fancy a Liverpool win by two in this one. We think that the Reds may have given up on hauling in City's ten-plus goal difference and so won't be so gung-ho in this one. The Liverpool win by two goals is 10/3 with SkyBet.

Danny boy

Daniel Sturridge is back from injury and after a goal at Palace (okay, credited to an OG, but still), we fancy him at 15/4 First Goalscorer with Bet365.

And with so much on the line, we fancy this to be a game of many corners. Over 12 corners is a very handsome 6/4 with Stan James, a figure that we can't recommend highly enough. It is all or nothing, after all.

Manchester City vs West Ham United

Sunday 11th May 2014: 3pm

At exactly the same time that Liverpool kick-off, so do City, knowing that even a draw will secure them the Premier League title for the second time in three years. Sam Allardyce will want to spoil the party (he is that kind of bloke), but is there any way that City could miss out on Premier League glory?

Blue ribbons on the Premier League trophy

Again, we can't see past a home win in this one. Pellegrini's team are more experienced, more skilful, more everything over West Ham. As much as that counts for nought sometimes, with so much on the line, we feel City have this in the bag. City are 2/11 with Paddy Power OR a massive 3/1 with Coral for new customers (link: http://bit.ly/MLxKyr). The draw is 8/1 with Betfair while the West Ham win is 16/1 with Sportingbet.

A 3-0 City win doesn't look too farfetched following the meetings between these two thus far this season. We would be surprised if West Ham managed a goal to be honest. You can find the 3-0 home win at 15/2 with Paddy Power, and the City win to nil at 11/10 with the same bookie.

Edin for glory

Edin Dzeko, the in-form man of the moment - feel free to add in your own clichés - is 9/4 with Betfred for First Goalscorer on Sunday. His teammate Sergio Aguero is 2/1 with Betfair - who are offering a free bet refund if Man City win the league. Naughty.

Again, corners are a must to bet on in this one, and over 12 can be found best priced at 6/5 with William Hill, if you fancy having a punt.
