Manchester City Vs Manchester United

Sunday 22nd September 2013: 4pm

So far this season, the big games haven't exactly lived up to the hype. Okay, there's only been arguably two, but United vs Chelsea and Liverpool vs United didn't exactly set the world alight. You know what both games needed? Jonjo Shelvey. The world needs more Jonjo Shelvey. Hopefully the Manchester derby will give the Premier League the kick it needs to start entertaining us all again.

City slickers may nab the three points

City are slight favourites for this one, and can be found for the win at 13/10 with Paddy Power. United are 14/5 with William Hill, while the draw is 12/5 with SkyBet.

We think City might just nick this one, but it will be tight. City to win by one goal is 3/1 with Ladbrokes and looks like a good shout. Home advantage may be the key.

Roo-d goalscoring form

Wayne Rooney is in some fantastic form at the minute, and it would be silly to write him off in the goalscoring stakes. Rooney is a whopping 8/1 with BetVictor for First Goalscorer on Sunday, which looks like a fantastic price given his form.

For City, Manuel Pellegrini has an interesting tactical choice ahead of him. Which two of his four front men does he choose? We think Aguero and Dzeko may be the ones to feature as they have played in this fixture before unlike the new arrivals Jovetic and Negredo. Aguero is 2/1 for Anytime Goalscorer which looks very promising.

Derby day means passion and cards

Stan James have a very good looking offer on there being a sending off in the game. They're offering 9/4 on a red card being shown. Derby day between the two Manchester clubs... You wouldn't want to bet against it, put it that way.

Arsenal Vs Stoke

Sunday 22nd September 2013: 1:30pm

The Premier League's premier ball-playing side face their new rivals to the crown in, err... Stoke. Okay, so they might not be as slick as Arsenal yet, but the transformation under Mark Hughes should at least Arsene Wenger can't complain about bully-boy tactics anymore. Which is a shame, we love a good managerial moan.

Potters to be gunned down

As 'nice' as Stoke may be on the eye now, they shouldn't prove a massive problem for an Arsenal who are in a good run of form at the minute. Arsenal are heavy 4/11 favourites with Bet365, while Stoke are a huge 8/1 with Coral. The draw is 7/2 with Ladbrokes.

We think an Arsenal 2-0 win looks good. Coral have 6/1 on this, but it is fading fast as it seems quite popular.

Ozil to open his account?

A Stoke team in transition is as good a place as any for Mesut Ozil to open his Arsenal account. Betfred's Anytime Goalscorer at 9/4 looks great for this.

Away from the new boy, Aaron Ramsey has hit great form early in the season, and Bet365's offer of 10/3 on him for Anytime Goalscorer is too good to ignore, so snap it up while it lasts.
