Manchester United v Liverpool
Sunday 16th March 2014: 13.30

Manchester United have come off the back of a rare impressive performance against West Brom, but facing Liverpool is an entirely different matter. United, however, are favourites to win this tie, best priced at 6/4 with BetFred. The draw is available at 13/5 with bet365 and the Liverpool win is available at a huge 2/1 with Paddypower.

We rarely go for such a simple top tip here at HowtoBet4Free, but the Liverpool win is too huge to pass up. Is it boring? Probably. Is it value? Absolutely. Liverpool have won their last four in the Premier League, including delivering a 5-1 battering to Arsenal. With a full strength squad available, Liverpool should be able to breeze past a continually substandard United.

Quick start for the Reds.

One of the huge strengths of Liverpool this season is that they are able to fly out of the blocks quickly and attack teams early on in the game. Sometimes this results in early leads such as the game against Arsenal last month, but we think it could have another effect. For a safe bet on Sunday’s action, tip Manchester United to pick up the first yellow card of the game. It’s best priced at 23/20 with Williamhill.

Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal
Sunday 16th March 2014: 16.00

It’s the North London Derby to sign off of the most Super of Sundays. Both sides suffered disappointment midweek, with Arsenal’s 1-1 draw to Bayern not enough to see them progress in the Champions League whilst Tottenham slumped to a 3-1 defeat to Benfica, almost confirming their exit from Europe this term. Both sides will be looking to get back on track and focus on the final stages of the Premier League. Arsenal are favourites for this tie, best priced at 6/4 with Ladbrokes. The draw is best at 12/5 with StanJames and a Spurs win is available at 11/5 with WilliamHill.

North London is Red

Tottenham’s loss to Benfica on Thursday symbolises perfectly everything that is wrong with Spurs against top level opposition. They had little creativity in the middle of the pitch and looked suspect at the back. They have only managed to pick up a solitary point against top four opposition this year and have had two days less rest than their opponents. We have to go with Arsenal for this one. Arsenal to win and Both Teams to Score is available at a tasty 4/1 with Coral – got to be worth a few quid?

Also, with news of Mesut Ozil’s injury, it may be time for Arsenal’s other playmakers to step and deliver for the Gunners. Santi Cazorla may well start in the central role where he proved so dangerous last year, and 7/2 at SpreadEx for the diminutive Spaniard to score seems too good to pass up.
