Liverpool to Win & Both Teams to Score (BTTS)

Liverpool head to south London to face Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace side. Liverpool play their third side from the capital in a row after 1-1 draw against Fulham last Sunday and a 2-1 win over Spurs in midweek. Palace are on the back of two 1-1 draws against West Ham and Spurs respectively.

Crystal Palace will be without Benteke who scored last time out and got sent off, whilst another former Liverpool man, Mamadou Sakho is unlikely to feature. Liverpool have no further injury news other than those big names (Jota, Thiago and VVD) and will be down to the bare bones defensively.

Salah, Mane and Firmino should start, with Mane having scored against Palace in his last six matches. However Mane has not scored since the 2-2 draw with Everton - Mane is 7/5 with Unibet to score and 19/4 with Unibet to score first.

Palace have looked good in the early part of this season and with the pace, power and flair of Wilfred Zaha and Eberechi Eze they have players who can hurt any Premier League team on their day. Liverpool looked fragile at the back against Fulham and Spurs and for that reason I fancy Palace to get at least one goal. You can get 14/5 for Zaha to score anytime with Bet Victor and 5/1 for Eze to score anytime with Betfred

This game has the feel of a 2-1 (8/1 with bet365) or 3-2 to Liverpool (22/1 with bet365), although the last game between the two sides ended in a 4-0 win for Liverpool. Interestingly though Liverpool have only one win from their last six away games in the Premier League (against Chelsea at the start of the season).

Liverpool don't often under perform, but the Fulham 1-1 draw was as much about the improvement of Fulham rather than Liverpool going off the boil. Liverpool should have enough to grab a win, but it might not be straightforward and that's why I'd go for a Liverpool win and both teams to score, 2/1 with bet365!

1st Bet:

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: Liverpool and both teams to score @ 2/1 with bet365!

Southampton Win (Draw no Bet) against Man City

The Saints head into this 3pm Premier League Saturday game before Xmas in 3rd spot, 6 positions higher than their opponents Manchester City. Southampton are just four points off the top spot, whilst Man City have stuttered they are a further four points back.

Southampton manager, Ralph Hasenhüttl has the luxury of a full strength squad to pick for this game. City have some minor absentees although it's anticipated that Aguero is set to start. You can get 17/5 on Sergio Aguero to score the first goal of the game with Paddy Power!

Southampton look free scoring at the moment (scoring at least twice in their last seven home league games) and with Danny Ings (11/2 with bet365 to score first) now back you fancy Southampton to trouble most Premier League defences. Manchester City meanwhile have struggled in many games to score more than one goal. Manchester City looked very limp against their Manchester neighbours in one of the worst Manchester Derbies ever.

Southampton have a reasonable record at home against City with two wins in their last five games. Arguably this is the weakest Man City and strongest Southampton have been for some time. Southampton are 6/1 with Bet Victor for the win, 18/5 for the draw with Bet Victor and 1/2 with Betfred for the Manchester City win. City haven't drawn three consecutive games 2017, but would you back City at those odds at the moment?

This is a big game for both sides. Southampton will fancy their chances against a less than exhilarating Manchester City, and Southampton win (draw no bet) seems the way to play this one, at 9/2 with bet365!

2nd Bet:

Southampton vs Manchester City: Southampton Win (Draw no Bet) @ 9/2 with bet365!

Goals in Everton vs Arsenal (the Arteta derby)

Arsenal head into the match against Everton with their lowest points tally at this stage since 1974. This could be a season of unwanted records for Arsenal as Arteta's team fails to match up to early season expectations.

Mikel Arteta played for both sides which adds extra spice to the game. Everton will chase, hurry and put Arsenal under as much pressure as they did to Chelsea last Saturday. Can this Arsenal pass the test at Goodison Park with a small crowd? With only one Arsenal premier league win in their last nine, they need something from this game.

Arsenal have no Gabriel and Xhaka (suspended) which could cause defensive worries for the Gunners fans. Dominic Calvert-Lewin will fancy his chances out jumping any Arsenal defender and adding to his 11 Premier League goals so far this season (13/10 with Paddy Power to score).

Everton are without Allan and James Rodriquez which will give Arsenal a boost, but Everton have notched up back to wins to nil against Chelsea and Leicester City so they'll fancy their chances. Betfair Exchange are offering 3/1 on a Everton win to nil! Given Arsenal's lack of goals recently it could be worthy of consideration.

Given Arsenal's appauling indiscipline you might want to have a punt on another red card, and you can get 6/1 on a red card with William Hill if you do! Or if you are more positive for the Gunners you may fancy Arsenal frontman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score again, and Bet Victor are 17/10 for the Gabon striker to score in this game.

We tend to see goals in this fixture and even though given the most recent games and Arsenal's lack of goals, it's difficult to justify, I think we'll see some goals in this one and I want to back over 2.5 goals in the game between Everton vs Arsenal, 5/6 with Bet Victor

3rd Bet:

Everton vs Arsenal: Over 2.5 Goals @ 5/6 with Bet Victor!

Manchester United to win and goals, goals, goals vs Leeds

What a game this could be!? A really enticing tie which makes you think goals, cards, corners and lots of controversy!

Manchester United have looked better in recent weeks, with the occasional wobble and off day(who hasn't this Premier League season?), and now sit 6th, but with a game in hand which get them up to 2nd if they win.

Leeds United under Bielsa have been a breadth of fresh air, with all energy attacking and high tempo football which has been good to watch. Leeds United are in 13th place and look a certainty to keep their Premier League status this season.

Marcelo-Bielsa-Manchester-United_Sunday_20th_December.jpg

The two sides haven't played in the Premier League since 2004 when the game ended in a 1-1 draw (9/1 with Bet Victor). The last time sides played at Old Trafford, Leeds came away with a 1-0 win (repeat is 21/1 with Bet Victor). Bielsa has twice beaten Manchester United in his club career (twice with Athletic Club in the Europa League).

Cavani could be back in contention as Utd seek to improve on their solitary win at home in the league. Leeds will be buoyed by a great performance against Newcastle, but a quality attacking side like United will punish the chances Leeds give the opposition.

I reckon Manchester United will win as Leeds won't sit back like many sides who go to Old Trafford. Man Utd are 7/10 with Unibet to win the game, the draw is 16/5 with Betfred, Leeds United are 18/5 for the win with Betfred! But the best way to bet on this is Manchester United to win and both teams to score at 15/8 with bet365.

4th Bet:

Manchester United vs Leeds: Manchester United Win & both teams to score @ 15/8 with bet365!
