An England vs Italy pitches two teams together who have never lifted the European Championship trophy. A deserved final from two teams who have more done enough to reach the final. Very much the two best teams in the competition are left!
We tipped England to reach the final pre-tournament with France to win it! Can England go one better and win it? We didn't see Italy progressing this far, but Italy have arguably been the most impressive side in the tournament.

Mancini vs Southgate
Southgate and Mancini have two very different CVs, with Mancini having a far greater pedigree as manager. Mancini has had great club management success where as Southgate has had limited club experience. Both managers achieved semi-final finished when players.
Both managers have restored national pride after cataclysmic despair when England were knocked out of Euro 2016 by Iceland and Italy didn't qualify for World Cup 2018. Now both sides are modelling themselves of each other of yesteryears, England now have a stubborn defence and swift counter attack where as Italy are a high pressing attacking team!
What's the head to head record like?
Of the eight competitive games between Italy and England, England have won one game, Italy have won five and there's been two draws.
Also remember Italy are on an amazing 33 game unbeaten run!
What should you be betting on?
England have had some big stand out performers at Euro 2020 including Sterling, Walker, Pickford and Shaw. Sterling has already bagged three goals and been instrumental in many of England's other goals. With Sterling's form, Sterling is worth a punt, and to score is best 10/3 with William Hill.
Chiellini and Bonucci will be tough to get past and some may fancy an Italy clean sheet at 7/4 with bet365. However Italy have conceded goals in all three knockout games so far (although the goal against Austria was in extra time).
Many will be expecting a tight affair given the defences of both sides, but I fancy we'll see both sides score. You can still get 11/10 with bet365 on both teams to score which is a good bet. I don't see this match being a tight affair as billed and would stick money on both teams to score, 11/10 with bet365!
