Everton to beat Newcastle (Draw No Bet)

Everton new manager, Carlo Ancelotti got off to a decent start with a 1-0 win against Burnley on Boxing Day. The Italian coach will fancy his chances to build on that victory with a trip to St James Park to face Steve Bruce's Newcastle.

Newcastle were demolished by a rampant Manchester United performance after taking the lead in the match. Newcastle sit tenth in the league and have exceeded expectations as most critics had Newcastle down as being in a tussle to remain outside the bottom three. Everton could jump over Newcastle in the Premier table with a win, and at 23/20 with Bet Victor that looks tempting to back.

Newcastle are very much hot and cold, with five wins in their last nine, but they've only lost once at home in the league (1-0 defeat against Arsenal in the first game of the season). Everton look a much more compact and tough team to play against since Marco Silva's departure. Everton haven't lost since Silva's last game (5-2 defeat by Liverpool), but if you fancy Newcastle to win the game you get odds of 11/4 with Bet Victor.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is looking much more like a dangerous goalscorer with six goals already this season. If you fancy a repeat of the Burnely game, a 1-0 scorcast bet with Calvert-Lewin as first goalscorer Bet Victor are offering a slightly mean 17/1. I fancy the short break will impact more on Newcastle, with Everton still riding the new manager bounce i'm going to suggest backing Everton Draw No Bet at 1/2 with William Hill. Bear in mind you win the bet if Everton win, and get your stake back if the game is a draw.

Leicester to bounce back with a convincing Win against West Ham

Leicester were absolutely hammered by Liverpool in the evening game on Boxing Day. Despite Kasper Schmeichel's views that Leciester were in the game until the penalty, it was an absolute masterclass by an unstoppable Liverpool side. The head to the capital against a West Ham side who are in chaos at the moment.

West Ham have lost seven of their last ten matches, even losing to the formless Arsenal by two goals! With that form Manuel Pellegrini looks on borrowed time and a meaty defeat (say a 3-0 win, 17/1 with Paddy Power), against Leicester could be the end. West Ham were unlucky to lose to a late Palace super goal from Jordan Ayew, but the West Ham players fighting between each other doesn't look good for team morale. If you think this game could boil Unibet are offering 24/5 for a red card to be shown.

Leicester City have been a joy to watch this season and while they may have conceded seven goals in the last two games, I can't see them being troubled by West Ham. Leicester are gunning for a fourth league game in a row unbeaten in London. In fact they'll go one better and win the game, 19/20 with Betfred for a Leicester City win is a great bet!

Even if Brendan Rogers rings the changes I can see Leicester winning this game comfortably. Leicester will want to prove a point, and against a hapless hammers defence I can see this being a convincing win for the Foxes. Leicester against this calibre of opposition can be very dominant and I like the look of Leicester: Half Time / Full Time, get backing!

2nd Bet:

West Ham vs Leicester City: Leicester City: Half Time / Full Time @ 9/4 with Betfair

Arsenal to win against Chelsea

Arsenal looked more vibrant against Bournemouth which wasn't too hard given their dreadful form. Arsenal host Chelsea for a potentially very tasty Sunday afternoon London derby against Frank Lampard's, Chelsea. Chelsea will have something to prove after another tepid home defeat, this time losing 2-0 to Southampton

Chelsea return to North London a week after a very controversial 2-0 win over Spurs where Antonio Rudiger experienced racist abuse from the crowd. Arsenal need a big game performance to get any sort of momentum in their season. If there was ever a game to get up for it would a London derby and Arteta will be praying Aubameyang (9/2 with Paddy Power to score two goals) and co are!

Arsenal have a reasonably good record against Chelsea at the Emirates. Chelsea haven't only won once in their past seven, but Arsenal have only once once in their last 14 games in all competitions. In order to give Chelsea the best chance of securing a win Lampard is set to recall a host of names including Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount (3/1 with Unibet to score anytime) and Mateo Kovacic after the trio didn't start on Boxing day.

Arsenal have conceded at least two goals at home in their last four games in all competitions. If you fancy Arsenal's favourite scoreline this season, a 2-2 draw, Coral are offering 10-1 odds. And Arsenal have drawn a lot of games this season (9 games drawn), if you fancy another draw, then Unibet are offering 14/5 on that match result.

Despite all that, I think form will be no clue to the result here! By the law of averages and the new manager bounce I'm going to go for an Arsenal gritty win against Chelsea, 19/10 with Betfair!

3rd Bet:

Arsenal vs Chelsea: Arsenal to win @ 19/10 with Betfair
