It's the August Bank Holiday weekend! And there's a full array of Premier League to enjoy and have a flutter on. Whether your backing the match result, first goal scorer or placing a bet on the correct score this weekend, you should be reading this before you do!

We pick out the Premier League bets you should backing this weekend!

Goals, goals and more goals between Liverpool and Arsenal!

The showpiece game of the weekend is between Liverpool and Arsenal from Anfield. Both sides are unbeaten so far in the Premier League. Arsenal have been efficient without being spectacular with wins over Burnley and Newcaslte United. Liverpool have two good wins, but are barely in second gear.

This fixture last year ended with a comprehensive 5-1 win for Liverpool. Liverpool have hit at 4 goals in this fixture at Anfield in 3 out of the 5 meetings. Arsenal have struggled take anything away from home to Liverpool, with their only positive result in the last 5 years a 2-2 draw in December 2014.

Liverpool have no new injury problems, but will likely be without Naby Keita and Allisson Becker. Arsenal have a number of players unavailable including Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney as well as continued doubts about Mesut Ozil and Saed Kolasinac. Emery has hinted at potential starts for Nicolas Pepe and Ceballos, and it will be interesting to see if last week's master Ceballos performance can be built upon.

This game rarely fails to deliver goals and with Arsenal still somewhat suspect at the back and Liverpool absolutely amazing going forward, I think it's safe to assume we'll get some goals! The odds for over 2.5 goals aren't that attractive,at 4/9 with Betfair, but over 4.5 goals looks much more appealing and worthy of backing at 14/5 again with Betfair!

1st Bet:

Liverpool vs Arsenal:  Win and Over 4.5 Goal @ 14/5 with Betfair

Chelsea to wobble at Carrow Road!

This game has gathered more importance for Chelsea given Frank Lampard is still without a win for Chelsea. On social media there are already rumbles and discontent and you can only imagine what the Blues supporters will say if Chelsea don't win this game! Norwich City vs Chelsea is a the early game on the Saturday!

Norwich City were defensively poor against Liverpool in the opening game of the Premier League season, but came back strongly a big performance against Newcastle to get their first win of the season. Teemu Pukki already has four goals in two games and has adjusted to life in the Premier League superbly.

N'Golo Kante is set to miss the game with an ankle injury, which is a big miss at this crucial time for Chelsea. The likes of Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-cheek are still out which means Lampard has somewhat of bare thread team to choose from.

The timing couldn't much worse and you fear what could happen in Norwich City are really up for this game. Chelsea have a decent record in the head to head record unbeaten in their last 15 matches against the canaries. However out of those last 15 matches I doubt Norwich have faced such a weakened Chelsea side! Norwich are of course the underdogs and quite rightly priced at 7/2 with Bet Victor, but i like the double chance (Norwich or the Draw) priced at 21/10 with Unibet!

2nd Bet:

Norwich City vs Chelsea: Norwich or draw (double chance) @ 21/10 with Unibet!

Manchester United convincing win for banker of the weekend!

Manchester United play at 3pm on a Saturday for the first time this weekend as they host Crystal Palace at Old Trafford. United seem to have a swagger and look a lot more solid than over the last few years. Two decent results and performances have added to early season optimism.

Manchester United look on paper and on the field a lot more intimidating and I can see Manchester United having a decent season this year. United will see this a banker in a game Palace old boy, Aaron Wan-Bissaka plays against his old club for the first time since the big money move.

United may have strengthened their defensive abilities, but you wonder how much they will need them with the lack of attacking from Crystal Palace this season. Palace have yet to score and that must be a big worry for Roy Hodgson. Manchester United are creating lots of chances, have pace and seem to have a squad togetherness early on, which should result in goals!

United should stroll to victory for me and backing Manchester United - 1.5 Asian Handicap (Bet Victor at 9/8) is the way to go.

3rd Bet:

Manchester United - 1.5 Asian Handicap @ 9/8 with Bet Victor!
