The first game of 2021 is Everton vs West Ham at Goodison Park. Because of the postponed Manchester City vs Everton game on Tuesday, Everton last played on Boxing Day beating Sheffield United 1-0. West Ham have played out two draws in that time, one 2-2 against Brighton and 0-0 against Southampton.
West Ham will be boosted by the news that James Rodriguez, Allan and Lucas Digne are out of the game, however Ancelotti believes Richarlison should play. Aston Villa head to Old Trafford to face a high flying Manchester United. With Liverpool's recent draws it means Manchester United are now within touching distance of the top of the Premier League. Man Utd are now 7/1 to win the Premier League with bet365.
Aston Villa really have been the surprise package of the 2020/21 season with some good recruitment including Matty Cash, Ollie Watkins and Emiliano Martínez. This has added to the quality Villa had from last season. Villa have the base to really kick on and potentially land a european spot. Nothing is more proof of the way Villa have improved than the fact Aston Villa only conceded one goal in December!

Both sides are in decent form with three wins and two draws in their last five Premier League games. For Villa that has included some impressive displays including beating Palace 3-0 despite being down to ten men and coming back from 1-0 nil down against Chelsea.
