Monday 28th DECEMBER 2020 PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURES

Crystal Palace vs Leicester City (3pm) - Prime Video

Chelsea vs Aston Villa (5:30pm) - Prime Video

Everton vs Manchester City (8pm) - Prime Video

Leicester City for a Half Time / Full Time Win at Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace face Leicester City 48 hours after a pretty dreadful 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Boxing Day. Palace somehow offered less after Villa went down to ten men, when Tyrone Mings was sent off in the first half. Zaha, Benteke and Eze looked off the pace on Saturday.

Leicester City earned a credible draw against Manchester United in the early Boxing Day game, a 2-2 draw with Leicester City equalising in the last five minutes after Bruno Fernandes put Utd 2-1 up.

You would expect Roy Hodgson to make changes after two Premier League games which have seen Palace notch up a 10-0 aggregate deficit. The likes of Nathaniel Clyne, James Tomkins and Jairo Riedewald all should be considered for reselection. Leicester City should have Caglar Soyuncu back although it's expected he will be named on the bench.

Jamie Vardy has found the net in his previous three away matches, so is worth a mention to score anytime at 19/20 with Bet Victor. Wilfred Zaha for Palace is 12/5 with Bet Victor, and surely will be keen to impress having not scored since the 5-1 demolition of West Brom.

The last six meetings between the sides have resulted in no draws, so if you fancy taking a contrarian bet then you can get 13/5 on the draw with Unibet! In those last six Leicester City have won the past two games to nil (11/4 with Bet Victor), and Palace have won three of the previous six games between the sides to nil (6/1 with bet365).

Given the number of goals Palace are leaking I can see Roy Hodgson being much more cautious so a punt on under 2.5 goals could be a way to go, evens with Bet Victor!

Leicester City are a strong team and with the flurry of games I think this comes at a good time for Brendan Rogers side. I'm going for a confident and dominant Leicester City half time / full time win, at 11/5 with Paddy Power!

1st Bet:

Crystal Palace vs Leicester City: Leicester City  Half Time / Full Time Win @ 11/5 with Paddy Power

Goals, Goals, Goals in Chelsea vs Aston on Monday evening

Chelsea come into this meeting with Aston Villa off the back of a horror game against Arsenal. Frank Lampard looked absolutely seething on the touchline and you would expect the Chelsea boss to ring the changes. Hakim Ziyech, Oliver Giroud, and Callum Hudson-Odoi should be in contention for a start.

Aston Villa meanwhile swept a hapless Crystal Palace aside despite being down to ten men for over half the match. Ollie Watkins was magnificent with an assist in all three goals against Palace; despite not scoring in six games Watkins is a threat and you can get 2/1 with Betfred for Watkins to score a goal in the game.

Villa have now gone four Premier League games without conceding, but Mings is suspended so a bet on an Aston Villa clean sheet might not be so tempting, but you can get 11/2 with bet365 if you do fancy it! Chelsea only have one clean sheet in their last five matches so the evens on offer from bet365 won't inspire much confidence with punters.

Villa have been pretty strong against the 'bigger teams', beating Liverpool 7-2, Leicester City 1-0 and Arsenal 3-0. Villa are a very backable 4/1 with bet365, Chelsea best with Unibet at 8/11. Despite Chelsea's poor recent form they are unbeaten in six at Stamford Bridge.

A special mention for Oliver Giroud, who has a cracking record against Aston Villa, scoring nine goals in seven appearances against the West Midlands side. Giroud should play on Monday, and Bet Victor are offering 7/5 on Giroud scoring anytime and 4/1 with William Hill to score the first goal of the game.

With no Mings, Chelsea changes and Villa's threat on the counter I reckon we should see a fair few goals, over 2.5 goals is 1/2 with Paddy Power so not great, but the 29/20 with Bet Victor on over 3.5 goals looks more attractive.

Chelsea have gone off the boil defensively, but still have a strong attacking threat, and whilst I have no idea what the result will be we should see plenty of goal threat and goals! I would suggest backing over 3.5 goals in this Chelsea v Aston Villa game, at 29/20 with Bet Victor!

2nd Bet:

Chelsea vs Aston Villa: Over 3.5 goals @ 29/20 with Bet Victor

Manchester City to Win and Both Teams to Score against Everton

Everton vs Manchester City is the headline clash on Monday 28th December, 8pm kick off at Goodison Park.

Manchester City are slowly gaining ground on the sides at the top after a slow start; wins against Newcastle and Southampton in recent games has got City back up into contention with the leading pack (5th at the time of writing). Manchester City are now best 11/5 with Paddy Power to win the Premier League, behind odds on Liverpool (8/11 with most bookies).

Everton will be without Richarlison, James Rodriguez, Allan, Lucas Digne and Fabian Delph for the game. Man City will be unable to select Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker as a result of positive coronavirus tests.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin hasn't netted in five matches so is due a goal, you can get 12/5 with bet365 on Calvert-Lewin to score. Alternatively if you for City player to score, stand out picks include Sergio Aguero at 21/20 with Bet Victor and Ferran Torres at 2/1 with Paddy Power!

Manchester City have a good record against Everton, winning the last five matches between the sides. Therefore Man City backers should feel confident with the 1/2 available on the Man City win with Betfair. Everton's last win in the fixture was a 4-0 win in January 2017 - if you fancy a repeat you can get as big as 350/1 with Bet Victor!

Four of those last Manchester City wins against Everton have been wins with both teams scoring. I think we'll get another similar result and that's why I'm backing Manchester to win and both teams to score, 2/1 with Betfred! Get on it!

3rd Bet:

Everton vs Manchester City: Manchester City to Win and BTTS @ 2/1 with Betfred!
