Premier League - Three Bets For This Weekend

Like Tweet +1

The most exciting league in the world resumes this weekend in what is shaping up to be an intense season for those in the upper echelons of the league as well as those toward the bottom. It’s very much still early days however and there’s all to play for with many twists and turns to come. Expect the unexpected in the Premier League.

We have a few tips for you this round of matches which you can play as an accumulator or shape as however you see fit. Our betcalculator can help you in shaping your bet.

Bournemouth v Sunderland

Bournemouth are a bit of a mixed bag, you don’t really know what you’re going to get from one week to the next. I’m a big fan of Eddie Howe and the way he wants his teams to play football. He’s done an unbelievable job with Bournemouth and when they are on song they’re a very good team to watch. Sunderland are struggling badly as they usually do season after season. It’s been an even worse start than usual though and are still without a win this season in the league. To say David Moyes and his team are in desperate need of 3pts would be an understatement. Bournemouth are strong at home with the crowd behind them and after last Bournemouth had their off day last week at Middlesbrough, I can’t see anything but a home win in this one.

Tip1.) Bournemouth to win at 4/6 with Betfred - Bet Here! (Best Priced Odds)

Burnley v Crystal Palace

I’m going to go against the tide here. Crystal Palace just seem to blow hot and cold consistently for a good few games in a row. They are on a 3 match losing streak now in the league while Burnley have given it a good go this season after getting promoted from the Championship. It seems like Sean Dyche has learnt from his last experience with Burnley in the Premier League which is a good sign for them. I just think that Crystal Palace are a better team when playing away from home and have players that can hurt you when they are on a good day. They have been poor defensively of late so I expect them to keep it tight in this one having probably worked on defensive situations in training this week. Considering that Palace have been on a losing run lately, I find the odds for an away win here tempting so I’m going for an away win.

Tip 2.) Crystal Palace to win at 7/5 with Betfred - Bet Here (Best Priced Odds)

Chelsea v Everton

This is an interesting match. Chelsea have won 4 league games on the bounce without conceding a goal since switching to Antonio Conte’s preferred shape of 3 at the back. The effect it has had on the team has been very positive and they look like they could be title challenger’s while Everton have had a very solid start under the tutelage of Ronald Koeman. I feel a lot of punters will be tempted to bet on a Chelsea win but I wouldn’t be surprised if Everton get something from this game. Having said that, I believe both teams to score is a more likely outcome. It’s been a while since Chelsea have conceded in the league and I think that time has come with Lukaku hovering around.

Tip 3.) Both teams to score at 3/4 with Bet365 - Bet Here (Best Priced Odds)
