Sunday 27th December 2020 Premier League Fixtures

Leeds United vs Burnley (12 noon) - Sky Sports

West Ham vs Brighton (2:15pm) - Sky Sports

Liverpool vs West Brom (4:30pm) - Sky Sports

Wolves vs Spurs (7:15pm) - Sky Sports

Leeds to beat Burnley in the early Sunday Kick-Off

Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds Utd take on Burnley at Elland Road in the Sunday lunchtime kick off. Leeds have Robin Koch out and doubts over Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente. For Burnley Dwight McNeil and Robbie Brady are doubts.

Let's hope for another entertaining Leeds United game; Leeds United games have averaged 5.5 goals in their last four Premier League games. If you fancy that run to continue you can 8/1 on over 5.5 goals with Bet Victor!

Burnley matches have been less exciting, but since a 5-0 thrashing by Man City on 28th November, Burnley have gone on an unbeaten run, taking points off Everton and Aston Villa, as well as beating Arsenal and Wolves. You can get as good as 23/20 on Double Chance: Burnley or the draw with Unibet!

A win for Burnley (7/2 with Paddy Power) and they'll be within one point of Leeds United with a game in hand. Leeds grab a win (8/11 with bet365) and that should put good breathing space from those clubs battling relegation.

Leeds haven't beaten Burnley since a 1-0 win April 2013 back when both teams were in the Championship. If you fancy a repeat 1-0 win for Leeds United you can get 17/2 with William Hill.

The game could feature players which featured for opposing sides, Patrick Bamford made several Premier League appearances for Burnley in 2016/17 season and Chris Woods featured heavily for Leeds in 2017 scoring over 20 goals before moving to Burnley. You can get 4/1 on Bamford to score first and Woods is offered second fav at 6/1, both with bet365.

Burnley have improved in the last month, but I think Leeds will be too strong for Burnley. Leeds are unbeaten against sides below them in the table, and given their attacking exploits I'm backing Leeds United to get the win (match result), best odds 8/11 with bet365!

1st Bet:

Leeds United vs Burnley: Leeds United to win (match result) @ 8/11 with bet365!

West Ham for an easy Win against Brighton

West Ham take on Brighton at the London Stadium in the 2:15pm Sunday game.

West Ham have a chance to close the gap on the teams at the higher reaches of the Premier League table. West Ham are only ten points away from 1st spot and and five points away from the top four. Brighton meanwhile are off the pace, one point above Fulham in 18th (relegation zone).

Michail Antonio may start for West Ham after coming back from injury, and you get 13/8 for Antonio to score with BetfredTariq Lamptey will miss out with injury. Brighton have no further injury concerns at this stage.

The last two meetings between the sides at the London stadium has produced 10 goals, so evens with Bet Victor for over 2.5 goals doesn't look to shabby! Brighton have scored eight goals at the London Stadium, more than at any other Premier League ground.

West Ham look a very solid side and should be comfortable top ten finishes in the Premier League. Only Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have taken three points off West Ham since October, so I can't see Brighton winning here, 21/10 with Paddy Power for a Brighton win! The last three games between the sides have ended in a draw, so 12/5 for the draw from bet365 looks reasonable.

I can't see West Ham having too many problems in dispatching an average Brighton side. Brighton have looked very poor this season and West Ham have cutting edge against sides down at the bottom of the league, that's why I'm going for West Ham -1 Asian Handicap at 51/20 with bet365!

2nd Bet:

West Ham vs Brighton: West Ham - 1 Asian Handicap @ 51/20 with bet365!

Liverpool for a High Scoring romp past West Brom

Liverpool face West Brom in the late afternoon game. Klopp leads his side into the game top of the league at Christmas and will face a West Brom with new new boss Sam Allardyce in charge.

Liverpool may recall the likes James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri depending on fitness, but the game comes too soon for Thiago Alcantara. After Salah had a cameo substitute appearance against Crystal Palace (scoring two and setting  up another goal), it's expected that Salah will start. Mo Salah is 5/2 favourite to score the first goal of the game with Paddy Power!

Roberto Firmino is back in form with three goals in his last two games, so might be worth a shout at 21/20 to score anytime with Betfred!

West Brom did manage to upset the apple cart when they nicked a point away Manchester City in a 1-1 draw earlier this month (You can get 22/1 with bet365 on the 1-1 correct score). If West Brom escape with anything from this game it would be a big shock. Only two points picked up away from home for the Baggies, you can get 9/1 with bet365 on the draw and 20/1 with Betfair on the West Brom win!

Sam Allardyce was the last Premier League manager to come away from Anfield with three points, when Allardyce's Palace side beat Liverpool in April 2017. The fact Liverpool have gone that long without losing at home in the Premier League is testament to the great job that has been done at Liverpool.

I'm going for a Liverpool Xmas romp! Liverpool will beat West Brom quite comfortable, but the the 2/13 on the Liverpool win with Bet Victor doesn't inspire me. West Brom have conceded three against Aston Villa, three against Chelsea, three against Leicester, five against Leicester City and I think they'll leak more against Liverpool. I'm backing Liverpool to win by four goals or more at 11/4 with Paddy Power!

3rd Bet:

Liverpool vs West Brom: Liverpool to win by four goals or more @ 11/4 with Paddy Power!

Wolves and Spurs to play out low Scoring game

The final Sunday games is Wolves against Tottenham. Jose Mourinho will head to Wolves on the back of two premier league defeats and no league wins in three games!

Wolves aren't in spectacular form with wins against Chelsea and Arsenal, the only two wins in their last seven Premier League games. The bookies are pricing up a Wolves win best with Bet Victor at 5/2, draw at 9/4 with Paddy Power and Spurs at 5/4 with Unibet

Spurs_Wolves_Premier_League_Betting_Sunday_27th_December.jpg

Wolves don't look the same without Raul Jimenez and will look to Neto, Podence and Traore but the stats aren't great. Wolves simply don't score as much without Jimenez, over half a goal on average less goals when Jimenez doesn't play. Traore hasn't be scored for a year and hasn't been involved directly in a goal or assist for 21 league games (you can get 4/1 with Paddy Power for Traore to score anytime).

The bookies are pricing up no goalscorer (7/1 with bet365) as high as for Fabio Silva to score the first goal (7/1 with bet365). Unsurprisingly Harry Kane is 7/2 with Paddy Power as the fav in the first goalscorer market.

Since Wolves got back in the Premier League in 2018 we haven't seen a low scoring match between Wolves and Spurs. But given the Mourinho factor and the lack of goals from Wolves I'm going for a low scoring match in this one, and going for under 2.5 goals at 4/6 with Betfred

4th Bet:

Wolves vs Tottenham Hotspurs: Under 2.5 goals @ 4/6 with Betfred!
