Arsenal to continue Winning ways against Brighton

Brighton vs Arsenal strictly speaking should be described as a relegation six pointer! Arsenal are four points above Brighton, in 15th and 16th respectively. The bookies have Brighton 5/1 with William Hill to be relegated and Arsenal are 66/1 with Paddy Power!

Both teams should have slightly more confidence after positive previous round of results. Arsenal got a great 3-1 win at the Emirates Stadium against Chelsea, whilst Brighton will feel unlucky not to have come away with more than a point away to West Ham.

This game will have bad memories for Arsenal as they lost 2-1 in June, with a Maupay injury time winner, Bernd Leno injured and Guendouzi lost the plot! If Arteta is to solidify and build on the Chelsea win, Arsenal will need to win this game and you can back Arsenal at 5/4 with Paddy Power

Amazingly Arsenal have only beaten Brighton in one of their six Premier League encounters (three wins for Brighton, two draws and one win for Arsenal). The last two meetings between the sides have ended 2-1 to Brighton, so if you fancy a repeat bet365 are offering 12/1 on a 2-1 Brighton win against Arsenal

One point to mention is the number of draws Brighton have had this season, seven draws and four of them in their last six matches. bet365 are offering 12/5 on the draw.

Alexandre Lacazette and Gabriel Martinelli both looked good on Boxing Day and it would be nice to see those two lineup on Tuesday evening. Lacazette is best 17/10 with Betfred to score and Martinelli is 5/2 with Unibet to score in the match. For Brighton, Maupay likes a goal against Arsenal and best priced 9/4 with bet365!

Arsenal's poor form couldn't continue for long and it was always likely their fortune would change. The game on Tuesday will be a big test for Arteta and I reckon we should see Arsenal kick on now. I'm betting on Arsenal to get the win, 5/4 with Paddy Power!

1st Bet:

Brighton vs Arsenal: Arsenal Win @ 5/4 with Paddy Power

Burnley to take all three points against Sheff Utd

Burnley play Sheffield United in a full on relegation battle at Turf Moor on Tuesday evening. Sheffield United are a staggering eleven points behind 17th placed Burnley, staring down the barrel of Championship football for the 2021/22 season. Sheffield United are short odds on 1/7 with Paddy Power to get relegated.

Burnley huffed and puffed without laying a blow on Leeds United on Sunday lunchtime. Burnley have been pretty flat this season, but Sean Dyche's side are improving, having claimed twelve of their thirteen points in the last eight matches. Burnley have been harder to play against, much like Sheffield United were famous for last season.

Burnley_Sheffield_United_Match_Result_Win_bet.jpg

Sheffield United are on a terrible run with only two draws in a season of defeats. Last minute goals and near misses haven't been enough for Sheffield United and you would be hard pressed to see their fortune changing. Sheffield United are 11/5 with Betfred to beat Burnley if you think the winless run ends here.

Last season Burnley and Sheffield United played out a 1-1 draw in this fixture and the sides also played out the same result in the league cup in September. Unibet are offering 5/1 on a repeat 1-1 draw between the Clarets and the Blades. Given these two sides are the lowest scorers in the Premier League it should be a pretty safe for under 2.5 goals, best odds with Betfair at 3/5.

I can't see Sheffield United winning at Turf Moor (Sheffield United are winless in 13 away games stretching back last season), but Chris Wilder's team will make it hard. A 1-0 (6/1 with Bet Victor) or 2-1 (10/1 with bet365) Burnley seems the most likely result, but I'm going with a Burnley win match result, best odds 7/5 with Paddy Power! Have a bet on it!

2nd Bet:

Burnley vs Sheffield United: Burnley Win @ 7/5 with Paddy Power

West Ham Win (Draw no Bet) vs Southampton

Another 6pm game on Tuesday (keep up!)! West Ham travel to the south coast to take on Southampton.

This looks a pretty close game to call and you could make a case for either side. West Ham have made improvements after a dodgy start to the season and don't roll over easily. Southampton equally have been pretty solid with only four defeats in the opening 15 games.

Southampton were without Oriol Romeu, Jannik Vestergaard and Danny Ings for the game at Fulham and it showed. Whilst Ings and Vestergaard should be out, Romeu will return from suspension giving more bite in the Southampton midfield. This will likely give another chance for Che Adams to play a pivotal role, best price at 6/1 with bet365 for first goalscorer in the game.

Southampton_West_Ham_Betting_Preview.jpg

West Ham are on a five match winning run against Southampton, with the Saints last beating West Ham in August 2017. The Hammers will have to improve on their performance in the 2-2 draw with Brighton on Sunday, West Ham are priced up at 12/5 with Bet Victor to win the game, with Southampton the favs at 23/20 also with Bet Victor!

You never quite know what you'll get with West Ham or David Moyes selections, but it wouldn't surprise me if West Ham turn up and really give Southampton a proper game. West Ham have good squad depth with the likes of Tomas Soucek (10/3 with Betfred to score), Manuel Lanzini (23/4 with Unibet to score), Said Benrahma (15/4 with bet365 to score) and co. For all Moyes critics he has made West Ham into a more exciting and solid side to watch, with only five defeats this season.

Despite my confidence I'm going to give myself some insurance by backing West Ham Win (Draw no bet) at 11/8 with Betfred! Hammers to make it four victories in a row away at Southampton!

3rd Bet:

Southampton vs West Ham: West Ham Win (Draw no Bet) @ 11/8 with Betfred

Leeds win and Both Teams to Score (vs West Brom)

West Brom come into this game against Leeds United off the back of a great point against Liverpool. The Sam Allardyce factor has done it again and got one over on Liverpool. Leeds managed to get a good 1-0 win against Burnley if not a little fortunate.

Patrick Bamford continued his great scoring run with another against Burnley, that's 10 goals in 15 Premier League games! You can get 6/5 with bet365 on Bamford scoring in the match! bet365 are 6/1 on Bamford scoring two or more goals in the game!

Given the West Brom tactics to rely on set pieces Semi Ajayi is worth a mention for anytime goal scorer, best at 11/1 with Unibet! Over the last six games West Brom have only failed to score in one game (the 3-0 defeat against West Brom) so the 23/10 on a Leeds United clean sheet wouldn't be a bet for me.

Leeds_United_West_Brom_Betting_Preview.jpg

Leeds maintain their record of never losing to a team below them in the Premier League this season. You can get 21/10 on William Hill for the Leeds win, 5/2 on the draw with Paddy Power and 27/10 on the West Brom win with Betfair!

After the euphoria of the 1-1 draw at Anfield I can see this being a reality check for West Brom. It's far easier to not lose games than win games, and against a Leeds side that plays all all out attack, it's bound to make West Brom change their tactics to some extent.

Leeds United were fortunate to win 1-0 against Burnley and could have easily let in a couple, but equally Leeds could have scored a few more. We know how Leeds United play now, and that's without the handbrake on! I think the best way to bet on this game is a bet on Leeds and both teams to score (BTTS), at 13/5 with Betfair

4th Bet:

West Brom vs Leeds United: Leeds United to Win and Both Teams to Score @ 13/5 with Betfair

Manchester United Half Time / Full Time Win (vs Wolves)

Manchester United vs Wolves is the 8pm headline game at Old Trafford

Both teams picked up draws in the last round of Premier League games. Wolves grabbed a late goal to earn a 1-1 draw with Spurs, where as Man Utd lost out on two points after a late Leicester City equaliser. Unibet are best at 33/10 for the draw if you fancy a repeat!

Manchester United have a good 24 hours extra preparation time, which can be crucial at this time of year. Wolves will likely to have reshuffle the pack and that could play into Utd's hands given Solskjaer can call upon Pogbavan de Beek and Cavani who have been lightly played over the Xmas period.

Manchester_United_Wolves_Premier_League_Best_Betting.jpg

Man Utd have no issues going forward, scoring 13 goals in their last four games, but you always fancy Utd to give the opposition a chance to score a few goals. Wolves don't offer great goal scoring threat at the moment, but Man Utd win and both teams to score looks tempting to me, at 13/5 with Bet Victor!

Manchester United have scored the first goal in the first half in their last three league games, you can 4/9 with Betfred for Manchester to score first. Wolves usually play better and score in the second half, so the 11/4 with Paddy Power on both teams to score in the second half might be worth a punt (that bet would have won in Manchester United last three league games!).

I think we'll see another good Manchester United display against a Wolves team lookin for direction. Rashford, Martial, Fernandes, Cavani and Greenwood are all fighting for their place and won't let up. I think the best way to bet on Manchester United, is a bet on Manchester United half time / full time at 29/20 with Bet Victor! Get backing it now!

5th Bet:

Manchester United vs Wolves: Manchester United Half Time / Full Time Win @ 29/20 with Bet Victor!
